THE OSO RIDGE STORY
Born on the road. Inspired by nature.
Ever since I can remember, I have loved being outside. As a kid, there was always something to discover, somewhere to wander, and a reason to stay out a little longer. I did not have words for it then. I just knew how good it felt to be there.
That feeling has stayed with me as I have grown. So has an appreciation for the places that gave me those memories, and a desire to leave them just as beautiful for whoever comes next.
Over the years, that love of nature followed me through the places I explored. Sometimes work took me there. Other times, it was curiosity, a road I had never taken, or the chance to spend a little more time outside.
I began to look forward to the details that made each place its own. The smell of fresh grass drifting through an open window. The cool air near a river. The way the land changed as I traveled, opening into pastures or rising into mountains. I would find myself somewhere unfamiliar and already hope I could come back.
Those places stayed with me long after I left.
Some became memories of camping, fishing, and time with family and friends. Others were quiet moments I had to myself, when I could stop, look around, and feel grateful to be right where I was.
Over time, that feeling became the inspiration for OSO RIDGE. I wanted to give those experiences somewhere to live and share what they meant to me.
My hope is that you feel a little of that inspiration here, too. A reason to explore somewhere new, revisit a place you love, or spend an afternoon outside with someone you have been meaning to make time for.
You do not have to travel far. Some of the places that mean the most to us are close to home. What matters is giving yourself the chance to be there, notice what is around you, and make memories you will want to return to.
OSO RIDGE is a dream growing from those moments and the people who connect with them. It means so much to see something that began in my own life become something we can share.

The meaning behind EST. 1990
1990 is the year I was born. The name OSO RIDGE came later, but the love for nature behind it has been with me for as long as I can remember.
